Sports Injury Rehabilitation
From acute muscle tears and ligament sprains to chronic overuse issues like tendinopathy, we treat athletes of all levels—from weekend runners to competitive lifters.
Our Approach: We perform detailed biomechanical assessments to identify movement flaws, utilising targeted manual therapy, sports massage, and progressive loading programs to ensure a safe, high-performance return to your sport.
Spinal & Musculoskeletal (MSK) Care
Don't let chronic lower back pain, neck stiffness, sciatica, or joint arthritis dictate your daily life.
Our Approach: We combine hands-on joint mobilisations, soft tissue manipulation, and prescriptive core stabilisation exercises to relieve neural compression, restore joint mechanics, and eliminate daily discomfort.
Post-Surgical Rehabilitation
High-quality rehabilitation is critical following orthopedic surgery (such as ACL reconstructions, joint replacements, rotator cuff repairs, or spinal procedures).
Our Approach: Working closely alongside your consultant's protocols, we guide you through a phased, safe recovery timeline—focusing initially on swelling management and range of motion before progressing into full strength restoration.

The Physio Effect Advantage: The EDA Gym Infrastructure
We bridge the gap between early-stage clinical treatment and late-stage performance training. Because our clinic sits directly inside the Everyday Athlete (EDA) Gym, your rehabilitation moves seamlessly from the treatment table onto the gym floor.
Under the direct supervision of your physiotherapist, you will have access to premium lifting racks, functional movement spaces, and specialised loading equipment. This unique environment ensures that when you are discharged from our care, your body is genuinely strong enough to handle the real-world demands of your sport, gym routine, or daily life.

Physiotherapy & Injury FAQs
-
Your first session is a comprehensive 1:1 clinical diagnostic evaluation. Your physiotherapist will take a detailed history of your injury, perform a physical assessment of your joint range of motion, muscle strength, and movement patterns, and provide you with a clear diagnosis. You will leave with an individualised treatment roadmap and your first stage of recovery exercises.

Please wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing or gym kit that allows your physiotherapist to easily see and assess the injured area. For lower limb injuries (knees, hips, ankles), shorts are highly recommended. For shoulder or neck issues, a tank top or vest is ideal.

There is no one-size-fits-all answer, as recovery timelines depend entirely on the severity of your injury, your baseline fitness, and tissue healing times. An acute muscle strain may resolve in 3 to 4 sessions, whereas complex post-surgical rehab or chronic spinal issues may require a structured program over several weeks or months. Your therapist will give you an honest, clear timeline during your first visit.
